Finding your ideal home
Whether your living situation has changed, or you want to move closer to your loved ones, there may come a time when your home is no longer suited to your needs. All applications for social housing start by approaching your local authority, who will help you find a new place to call home.
A home that fits your family
Over time your living situation may change, which could mean your home is no longer the right size for you. If your home is under-occupied, we can help you move to a more suitable home which could save you money on your household bills. You could even receive funding to help with moving costs, so please get in touch with us to find out more.
Sheltered housing
It’s important to feel safe and supported in your home. We provide housing in Suffolk and Norfolk for people over 55. As well as your own place to call home, you’ll benefit from a communal room, shared gardens and fully equipped facilities. You’ll also have the added security of an alarm service and scheme manager.
If you are 55 or older and are interested in applying for one of our sheltered homes, please register with your local choice-based lettings scheme or give us a call - we will be happy to help.
Moving costs
Moving house is an exciting time, but please be aware that you may need to cover the rent on two properties at the same time when you leave one of our homes. This will include the final months’ rent on your existing home as well as the first month’s rent, in advance, of your new home. If you would like more information or want to know what financial support is available to you, please get in touch with us or visit the affordable for all page.
